A field guide to chocolate milk
Everychocolatemilk,rated
Quality and taste are not the same question. We ask them separately, so a milk that is very sweet is never mistaken for a milk that is very good.
Three kinds of question
Most review sites average everything into one number, which quietly assumes everyone wants the same thing. We keep them apart.
Quality
Flavour, mouthfeel, aftertaste. Higher is better on all of them, and only these decide the score.
Taste
Sweetness, thickness, creaminess, how milky or dark the cocoa reads. Descriptions, not judgements.
Value
Price per ounce, ranked only against milks of a comparable size and storage. Nobody rates this by hand.
Highest rated
The plain average of what reviewers gave it — no weighting, no adjustment. A milk joins this list once 3 people have rated it, so one rave cannot crown it.
No milk has qualified yet
Milks are being rated — none has reached 3 reviews, which is the bar for appearing here. Their scores are in the catalogue in the meantime.

Not a great product, they should use their whole milk and darker chocolate for a better product
It says richer and creamier on the bottle and are they so right. Extremely thick, the roastiness of the dark chocolate comes through very strong, although the added sugars also run alongside it, sweetening the milk overall rather than it leaning in on the dark chocolate flavor in full
Milk from Mexico
Great chocolate milk! Made with proper whole milk and has a dark chocolate flavor!
